MAIN SPHERES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT
High-voltage pulse capacitors
In the Institute various types of high-voltage pulse capacitors are developed and made which are used as electric energy capacitors in pulse current generators and pulse voltage generators of the electrotechnical installations of varied technological functions and electrotechnical installations for the research.
Use of new original technologies and the achievements in science and engineering allows for producing the competitive capacitors.
Produced pulse capacitors are advantageously distinguished by relations of the resource and specific stored energy, small overall sizes, high rates of reliability, and they are convenient for mounting - all features optimum for practice.
Capacitors have a rectangular and cylindrical design in metal and insulating casings, and they are convenient for mounting in pulse current generators and pulse voltage generators.
Capacitors may be operated during a nonstandard working position in conditions of shock vibrating loads, at high values of the external hydrostatic pressure to 50 MPa and ambient temperature to 100°Ñ.
Most pulse capacitors are unparalleled; the capacitor designs are protected by author's certificates and patents of Ukraine.
